Our Name & Inspiration

IKUNA, pronounced E-KU-NAR, comes from the friendly islands of Tonga. IKUNA means ‘to conquer’, describing the victory of overcoming a significant hurdle. IKUNA is never used lightly, expressed with humility and gratitude towards goals and aspirations achieved, and hardships endured. IKUNA is our way of honouring our Pacific ancestors, whose pioneering spirit and determination to conquer will never be forgotten. 

We draw inspiration from the pristine, untouched, natural beauty of Tonga and the resilience and dedication of our ancestors. From product development and production, to packaging and distribution, we take every step with this in mind. Our aspiration is to offer raw, organic products which nourish both body and soul, doing no harm to our planet in the process.
